OpenAlchemist is a game similar to the popular Tetris game but with some nice features. It is very simple to play: there are two pieces on the top, just move them to the left or right, with the left and right arrows of the keyboard.
The game's instructions are showed in the main window once the game is opened. To access the game's menu, just press ESC key on your keyboard, and it will appear allowing you to pause, quit, resume, or give up the current game, and it also shows the game's options menu. Options can also be opened directly by pressing F9 key on the keyboard. There, you can change the game's skin, sound level, music level and if the game will use the entire screen or a window.
Its GUI is easy and user-friendly. Choose any skin available, and you will see very nice views. The game's installation process is very easy to follow; it won’t require any additional libraries or programs. There is no documentation on the game though; in fact, its website is too simplistic, and it is hard to find any extra information on the program. OpenAlchemist runs on Windows/Linux platforms, and on any other platform it is ported to, being open source.
